Top Gardening Blogs 1

From today on we will start a series of posts listing some of the best gardening blogs from all over the world. In each post we will list four gardening blogs along with a brief description accompanying each link. These blogs are listed in no particular order.

  1.  A Way to Garden – One of the more well developed and popular gardening blogs, written by Margaret Roach, a gardening expert and the author of a book of the same name. The book was voted the best garden book of 1998 by the Garden Writers Association of America. The blog has a healthy mix of serious gardening articles and light hearted gardening doodles.
  2. This garden is Illegal – With a catchy name and tons of posts of all aspects of gardening this is a gardening blog to watch out for. The author of the blog, apart from writing on gardening, also reviews gardening related products and books on request.
  3. Garden Rant – This is a gardening blog with an attitude, complete with a “manifesto” on the home page. The blog is authored by four “highly opinionated” female gardeners. The blog was started in June 2006 and has been featured by many US national dailies and magazines. Apart from gardening articles they also sell gardening books from the blog.
  4. Veggie Gardening Tips – As the name suggests, this blog specializes in providing tips on vegetable and fruit gardening. The author of the blog Kenny E. Point, has decades of experience in Organic Gardening and he also answers visitors questions on the blog.
